Srinagar, Nov 30: A 21-year-old youth died after a motorcycle and a vehicle collided near Shalteng on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday morning, officials said.
An official said the accident took place when a motorcycle crashed into a Tavera vehicle near the Gurdwara in Shalteng. The injured rider was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
He was identified as Faiq, 21, son of Muzaffar Ahmad, a resident of Zainakote Umerabad.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident.
