ADDC Poonch reviews preparations for Human Chain, Tiranga Rally and Concert under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025

POONCH, AUGUST 08: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Poonch Pankaj Magotra on Friday chaired a review meeting at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to assess the ongoing preparations under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025. The meeting focused on key events including the Human Chain, Tiranga Rally and Tiranga Concert scheduled to be held from AUGUST 11 to 15, 2025.
During the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch Tahir Mustafa Malik apprised the chair of the departmental preparedness and detailed measures being taken to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of these patriotic events.
A comprehensive discussion was held on the planned Human Chain event, covering aspects such as the route map, segmentation for coordination and instructions for participating schools and stakeholders.
The meeting also deliberated on the arrangements for the Tiranga Rally, Tiranga Concert, Rangoli and other vibrant activities aimed at fostering a festive and patriotic atmosphere across the district.
The ADDC emphasised the need for massive participation from all sections of society, including students, youth groups, government officials, civil society members and the general public, to reflect the collective patriotic fervour of the district.
He further stressed strict adherence to safety, security and discipline during all events and directed officials to ensure compliance with the Flag Code of India. Instructions were issued to brief participants in advance to uphold the dignity and sanctity of the National Flag at every stage.
Highlighting the significance of coordination, the ADDC instructed all departments to work in close synergy to ensure that the events are conducted in a grand and befitting manner, truly reflecting the national spirit and significance of Independence Day.
A special emphasis was also laid on traffic management, with directions to concerned departments to prepare comprehensive traffic and security plans to ensure smooth movement and minimal disruption during the rallies and gatherings.
