SAMBA POLICE ATTACHES PROPERTY WORTH RUPEES 44.50 LACS OF NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLER AT SARORE ADDA BARI BRAHMANA
Samba, August 10, 2025: As a part of its relentless effort against drug peddlers/smugglers, Samba Police has attached a single storey residential house and cattle shed valuing appoximately 44.50 lacs belonging to notorious drug peddler namely Sham Din S/o Murid Ali R/o Sarore Adda tehsil Bari Brahmana district Samba. The action was taken by Police under sections 68-E read with 68-F of NDPS Act of 1985 and is linked with case FIR No.139/2023 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act of PS Bari Brahmana and FIR No. 66 /2024 u/s 8/21/22/25/29 NDPS Act of PS Bari Brahmana.
The residential house and cattle shed were identified as illegally acquired property during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by police. The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances by the drug peddler.
This operation reaffirms the commitment of Samba Police to combat the drug menace. Local people of the area hailed this unprecedented initiative of Samba Police against drug dealers.
