SBI RSETI Ramban conducts Entrepreneurship Awareness Program in remote Panchayat Khatter

RAMBAN, AUGUST 12: In a bid to extend self-employment opportunities to the farthest corners of the district, the State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) Ramban organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program at Panchayat Khatter, Block Gandhri.
The SBI RSETI team led by Senior Faculty, Amrik Singh Raju reached in the remote area Khatter to spread awareness about skill development, financial empowerment and self-reliance.
The Faculty highlighted SBI RSETI’s free skill development training in various trades aimed at empowering rural youth, women, and unemployed individuals to start sustainable ventures. Participants were sensitised about Government sponsored schemes such as PMEGP, JKREGP and MUDRA Loans for promoting micro and small enterprises.
The program also stressed Financial Inclusion through PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY, explaining how these schemes ensure banking access, insurance coverage and pension security.
Over 50 villagers attended the event, with 23 registering on the spot for upcoming training programs.
The session concluded with an interactive exchange of entrepreneurial ideas and guidance on availing credit and training support.
