Flower plantation drive launched in DC Office Complex Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, MARCH 30: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today kick-started flower plantation drive at the DC Office Complex.
The Deputy Commissioner planted a tulip in the main lawn of the New DC Office complex in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Pawan Kotwal; Chief Planning Officer, Akhil Thakur and Floriculture Officer, Arjun Singh Parihar.
The Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens Kishtwar has arranged a variety of flowering plants for the plantation drive. The plan material has been procured from the Plant Introduction Section of Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the planting of attractive flowering plants and seasonal flowers to create a pleasant and relaxing environment for visitors and employees alike.
