JAMMU: Mohandai Oswal Hospital successfully organised a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme in Jammu, bringing together leading medical professionals and specialists for an engaging academic session.
The CME featured two key presentations. Dr. Harpreet Singh, Senior Consultant and Head of Radiation Oncology, spoke on “Tomotherapy – A New Tool in Radiation Treatment,” highlighting advancements in precision-based cancer therapy and its expanding role in modern oncology.
The second session was delivered by Dr. Vikramjit Singh, who presented an “Overview on Head & Neck Cancer in India,” focusing on rising incidence rates, the importance of early diagnosis, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
The event, held at Radisson Blu Hotel, saw enthusiastic participation from healthcare professionals across the region and served as a platform for knowledge exchange on emerging trends in cancer care.
Senior leadership from Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, including the Medical Superintendent and Principal, attended the programme along with several distinguished members of the medical fraternity. Dr. Prabhjot Singh was also present and appreciated the initiative.
