Srinagar, Aug 25: Thieves broke into a house at Khawaja Pora in Nowshera, Srinagar, on the intervening night of August 24–25 and made away with copper items worth lakhs of rupees along with some cash.
Police said preliminary investigation indicates the involvement of multiple suspects, some of whom have been captured on CCTV footage from the locality.
Residents have been urged to share any information with Soura Police Station at 95960 62039 to aid the probe. Officials assured that efforts are underway to track down and arrest the culprits.
