Srinagar, Aug 28: Ongoing heavy rains and flood situation in Jammu and Kashmir have prompted the Legislative Assembly to suspend all Committee meetings till September 5, 2025.
In an official notification, the Assembly Secretariat said that meetings of all House Committees, including Financial Committees, stand postponed due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.
The Secretariat added that with the administration fully engaged in relief and response efforts, it has been decided to defer all scheduled meetings until the situation stabilises.
