Lieutenant General RS Sundaram, SM, VSM has assumed charge as the Director General of Recruiting of the Indian Army. A highly decorated officer with extensive operational, staff, and leadership experience, he has been honoured with the Sena Medal for gallantry and Vishisht Seva Medal for his distinguished service.
His appointment underscores the Army’s commitment to excellence for selection of future Officers & soldiers. Under his stewardship, the recruitment system shall further attain higher standards of professionalism, transparency and responsiveness to strengthen Indian Army’s operational readiness and future capabilities
