The National Cadet Corps today signed an MoU with the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology to formalise collaboration for implementing Cyber Security Capacity Building and Awareness Programme. The initiative aims at equipping NCC cadets with essential digital skills and enhancing their cyber defence capabilities.The MoU was signed in the presence of DG NIELIT Dr Madan Mohan Tripathi and DG NCC Lt Gen Virendra Vats.
Speaking on the occasion, DG NlELIT said NCC cadets trained in cyber security will be the cyber warriors available in the society. On the other hand, DG NCC said that NCC expects to train about 30,000 to 40,000 cadets every year in advance training and ramp up this facility to 1 lakh cadets.
