Mission Yuva Workshop Empowers Aspiring Entrepreneurs at ZNSNIST Shiksha Academy
Jammu, July 6, 2026: A one-day awareness and entrepreneurship workshop under Mission Yuva was successfully organized by the District Employment & Counselling Centre, Jammu, in collaboration with ZNSNIST Shiksha Academy Pvt. Ltd., Gandhinagar, Jammu. The workshop was specially designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, makeup artists, fashion designers, and youth interested in establishing their own startups.
The session was led by Mrs. Sunaina Saini, JKAS, Deputy Director, District Employment & Counselling Centre, Jammu, along with Mr. Navdeep, Counselling Officer, who provided valuable insights into various government schemes, entrepreneurship support programs, startup opportunities, skill development initiatives, and financial assistance available through Mission Yuva.
The speakers explained the complete process of starting a business, accessing government funding, preparing business plans, investment strategies, and exploring multidimensional business opportunities. Participants also learned how Mission Yuva and the Department of Employment & Counselling support young entrepreneurs through guidance, training, mentorship, and financial linkages to help them build successful ventures.
The interactive session cleared numerous doubts of participants, who appreciated the practical guidance and detailed information shared by the resource persons. The workshop inspired many young entrepreneurs and creative professionals to confidently pursue self-employment and transform their business ideas into reality.
The management of ZNSNIST Shiksha Academy, along with its Founder SHABIR MALIK expressed heartfelt gratitude to the District Employment & Counselling Centre, Jammu, especially Mrs. Sunaina Saini, JKAS, Mr. Navdeep, and the entire Mission Yuva team for conducting such an impactful awareness program at the academy. The academy also expressed its eagerness to continue collaborating with the department for future initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, skill development, and employment generation among the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
The workshop concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session and a vote of thanks, leaving participants motivated and better informed about the opportunities available under Mission Yuva to build sustainable and successful startups.
