Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh had a meeting with President of Sri Lanka in Colombo on September 09, 2026. He conveyed greetings on behalf of PM Shri Narendra Modi and felicitated him on the successful completion of two years of his Government. Both leaders reaffirmed that, as civilisational twins, close neighbours and maritime partners, India and Sri Lanka will continue to work together for the development and welfare of their people and jointly contribute to the safety, security, peace and prosperity of the region.
