Anantnag, Nov 8: A loco pilot sustained injuries on Friday morning after a train was struck by a bird along the Baramulla–Banihal railway route, officials said.
The incident occurred between the Bijbehara and Anantnag sections when an eagle collided with the train’s windshield, shattering it and injuring the pilot.
The injured loco pilot, identified as Vishal, was given first aid at the Anantnag railway station, officials added.
