SAMBA, NOVEMBER 08: Director Health Services Jammu (DHSJ) Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar today visited District Samba and chaired meeting to review the working of health institutions and implementation of health programmes in the District. The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Block Medical Officers (BMOs) and other health officials.
Dr. Zargar reviewed the performance indicators under the National Health Programmes including NTEP, NHM, NCD and immunization drives. He emphasized the need for improving healthcare delivery at the grassroots level. He directed the officers to ensure punctuality, availability of essential medicines and proper patient care across all health facilities.
The Director also stressed on maintaining hygiene and sanitation within hospital premises and strengthening referral linkages between peripheral health centres and the District Hospital.
