Poonch, Nov 10: A Border Security Force (BSF) porter died on Monday after falling from a height in the Chamber Kanari (Baran) area of Poonch district, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Musthaq Ahmed, a resident of Sawjian.
Officials said Ahmed reportedly slipped and fell while performing his duties, resulting in his death on the spot.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started further proceedings.
