Srinagar, Nov 13: Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, experienced the coldest night of the season as temperatures dropped to minus 2.1°C, the Meteorological Department said.
According to reports, Pahalgam was the coldest place in the Kashmir Valley, with the mercury dipping to minus 3.8°C.
Director MeT, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, told KNO that there is no forecast of any wet spell for the next week, though night temperatures are expected to remain nearly the same until November 17.
He added that a slight rise in night temperatures is likely for two to three days after November 17.
