Anantnag, Nov 16: A CIK team in Anantnag carried out a late-night search at the Malaknag home of Dr Khalid Aziz Tak, son of the late Aziz Tak, as part of an ongoing investigation connected to the Nowgam case (FIR 162 of 2025).
Officials said that during the raid, a female doctor, Priyanka Sharma, was found staying at the house on rent since October 2023. She is an MBBS doctor and currently in the final year of her General Medicine course at GMC Anantnag. Sharma is originally from Janta Colony, Rohtak, Haryana.
The search team seized a mobile phone and a SIM card from the premises. The raid was conducted under various sections of the UAPA, the Indian Arms Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita that are linked to the Nowgam police station case.
Officials added that the operation was completed smoothly without any incident.
