Srinagar, Nov 24: A 45-year-old man from Bihar died after being hit by a vehicle at Nowgam Bypass near Peaks Automobiles late Sunday night, officials said.
An official said the man sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle and was immediately shifted to hospital by police with the help of locals. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Sukhadi Rawat, a resident of Bihar who was currently living in Srinagar.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
