MEA, in collaboration with International Organization for Migration (IOM), organised a National Consultation on India’s initiatives under the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM).
Secretary (CPV & OIA) Ms. Sripriya Ranganathan, the UN Resident Coordinator Mr. Stefan Priesner and IOM India Head of Office Mr. Sanjay Awasthi participated in the inaugural session.
The discussions reflected India’s ongoing engagement in regional and global migration processes and sharing of India’s initiatives, experiences and emerging priorities related to safe, orderly and regular migration.
