ADDC visits JKEDI centre Udhampur, interacts with trainees
UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 13: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Udhampur, Jugal Kishore Anand, today visited the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) District Centre in Udhampur. He interacted with trainees of the Hybrid Mode Capacity Building Programme, currently being conducted under Mission YUVA.
During the interactive session, the ADDC shared insights into entrepreneurial success, emphasising innovation, resilience, market awareness and effective resource management as critical drivers for building sustainable enterprises.
He highlighted emerging sectoral opportunities in agri-based enterprises, tourism, digital services and local value-added industries. He encouraged participants to leverage government support schemes and adopt sustainable business practices to strengthen their ventures.
The programme provides structured training, mentorship and practical exposure to enable young entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into viable enterprises, thereby leading to economic growth and employment generation.
