Agriculture Department conducts Soil Health Training Programme for Students in BandiporaBANDIPORA, MARCH 14: Agriculture Department Bandipora conducted a training programme on soil health and soil sample collection for the students of Higher Secondary School Quil Muqam and High School Malangam.The training was imparted by Dr. Shahid Haji from the Soil Testing Laboratory, Bandipora, who provided practical guidance to the students on the scientific method of soil sample collection and highlighted its importance in maintaining soil fertility.During the session, the students were sensitized about the significance of soil testing in improving agricultural productivity and ensuring the balanced use of fertilizers. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about sustainable farming practices and the vital role of soil health in agriculture.Students actively participated in the training and appreciated the practical exposure and practical insights provided by the team from the Soil Testing Laboratory.
