Kishtwar, Nov 5: An Army jawan was injured on Wednesday in an encounter with terrorists in the Kalaban forest area of Naidgam, under the Chhatru Sub-Division of Kishtwar district.
Official sources said the injured soldier was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Earlier, the White Knight Corps posted on X, stating, “In an intelligence-based joint operation with @JkPolice, alert troops of #WhiteKnightCorps established contact with terrorists in the general area of Chhatru. Fire has been exchanged and the operation is in progress.”
Security forces have cordoned off the area, and the operation continues.
