Srinagar, Sep 15: A 45-year-old man from Budgam, who had suffered critical injuries after falling from a Masjid in Srinagar’s Lal Bazar area on Sunday, succumbed at SKIMS Soura on Monday, officials said.
The man, identified as Wakeel Ahmad Shah, son of Hamid Ullah Shah, a resident of Budgam, was working as a labourer at the Masjid in Umar Colony-A when he accidentally slipped from the second storey and sustained severe head injuries.
He was rushed to the hospital for treatment but could not survive. Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
