DC inspects progress of work on JKAACL auditorium at District office Kathua
Calls for time-bound completion with quality standards
KATHUA, MARCH 16: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rajesh Sharma, today visited the construction site of the auditorium hall coming up at the district office of the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL).
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the pace and quality of construction and reviewed the works being executed under the project. Emphasizing the importance of the project in promoting cultural and literary activities in the district, the DC called for its time-bound completion with quality construction.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the executing agency to expedite the pace of work, including the works proposed under the additional DPR, so that the multi-functional auditorium along with the library section is completed at the earliest.
The DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Vishavjeet Singh, Chief Planning Officer Ranjeet Thakur, Executive Engineer XEN PWD Kathua and Executive Engineer XEN M&HD Kathua, besides other concerned officials.
