DC Poonch inspects arrangements for Republic Day function at Sports Stadium

POONCH, JANUARY 23: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma today conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Sports Stadium to review the overall arrangements for the Republic Day function.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tahir Mustafa Malik, Executive Engineers and district officers.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner assessed key preparatory works including barricading, pavilion decoration, ground leveling, seating arrangements and other logistical requirements essential for the smooth conduct of the main function.
Stressing the importance of timely and coordinated efforts, the Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned Executive Engineers and officials to complete the remaining works well before the Day of celebration. He emphasized that meticulous planning and execution are crucial to ensure a dignified, safe and successful national event.
