DC & SSP Doda Flag Off Holy Manimahesh Yatra with Devotional Fervour
Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh (IAS) and Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Kumar Mehta-JKPS flagged off batches of devotees for the sacred Manimahesh Yatra from Dak Bungalow & Sports Stadium Doda respectively.

Hundreds of devotees carried the Chhari Mubarak amid chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and devotional hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Vehicles were decorated with flowers and sacred symbols, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere.
The pilgrimage will proceed via Bhaderwah–Chamba route to the holy Manimahesh Lake (13,000 ft) in Himachal Pradesh.
DC Doda urged pilgrims to uphold sanctity, harmony, and brotherhood. Whereas, SSP Doda assured them full protection and security all along the route upto Himachal Border. Both the officers wished the devotees a safe and secure journey.
