DDC Poonch reviews progress of restoration works

POONCH, OCTOBER 24: District Development Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the permanent restoration of PWD, JPDCL, Jal Shakti and Education sector assets damaged due to incessant rains and floods in the month of August.
The DDC emphasized the need for prompt restoration of all affected infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted delivery of public services. He instructed the concerned departments to expedite the restoration works and ensure their completion at the earliest in view of the limited working season and the approaching winter months.
The District Development Commissioner asked departments to adhere to quality standards and timelines, adding that delay in execution would not be tolerated. He also directed officers to maintain inter-department coordination for efficient utilization of the approved funds and timely completion of all projects.
