DDC Samba reviews implementation of Kisan Khidmat Ghars under HADP

SAMBA, AUGUST 11: District Development Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of Kisan Khidmat Ghars under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme in the district. The meeting was convened in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, Samba.
At the outset, Chief Agriculture Officer Samba Dr Rakesh Khajuria welcomed the DDC and all participants and presented a detailed status report on the establishment and operationalisation of KKGs across the district.
Reviewing the progress, the DDC evaluated the functioning of the existing KKGs and urged the Agriculture Department to extend robust handholding support to Krishi Udyamis with the objective of optimising revenue generation. She stressed the importance of inter-departmental convergence and stakeholder synergy to promote sustainable agricultural practices in the district.
She also directed that focused efforts be made to enhance registration of farmers and farms on the KKG portal, thereby ensuring comprehensive coverage and better delivery of services under HADP in Samba district.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Champa Devi, Chief Planning Officer Kasturi Lal, District Agriculture Officer (Ext.), Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, Subject Matter Specialists and all Agriculture Extension Officers of the district.
The proceedings concluded with a call for time-bound action plans to strengthen the outreach and efficacy of KKGs as a cornerstone for agricultural transformation in Samba district.
