Doda, July 17, 2025 –
Director General of Police, J&K, Sh. Nalin Prabhat -IPS visited Bhadarwah to review the security, law and order, anti-terror operations, and administrative readiness in the twin districts of Doda and Kishtwar.
He was received by DIG DKR Range, Sh. Shridhar Patil-IPS, along with the SSP Doda, SSP Kishtwar, and other senior officers of CAPF and army.
A detailed review meeting was held to assess deployment for Yatra’s and anti-terrorist operations. The DGP lauded the efforts of civil and police administration in ensuring peaceful Yatra’s till now and emphasized intelligence grid strengthening, focused attention on successful conduct of operations and welfare of police personnel. Main thrust was on the elimination of the existing as well as new groups of terrorists who are hiding on the higher reaches of these districts as well as smashing the over ground structure of the ANEs.
The visit reinforced the significance of inter-agency coordination in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
