Dhurandhar 2’s 15-day run: Rs 1,492 crore box office, behind Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has completed its 15-day run at the box office at an unstoppable pace. The film also wrapped up its second week with Rs 937.32 crore nett in India and Rs 1,492.17 crore worldwide.

While Week 1 remained magical, Week 2 witnessed a visible drop in collections. Dhurandhar 2, however, with its terrific overall performance, stands as the fourth highest-grossing Indian film globally – well ahead of its predecessor (Rs 1,354.84 crore), but still far behind Pushpa 2: The Rule. However, the Allu Arjun-starrer collected Rs 1,742.10 crore over nearly 60–65 days, and at that pace, Dhurandhar 2 has earned significantly more than Pushpa 2 did in its first 15 days.

Interestingly, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has a smooth window to continue its box office run, given that no major Hindi release is hitting screens next week. While Pushpa 2 will be surpassed in the film’s longer run, the real challenge lies in crossing the lifetime earnings of Baahubali 2 (Rs 1,810.60 crore) and the seemingly unbeatable Dangal (Rs 2,070 crore) to become the highest-grossing Indian film worldwide.

The film is directed, written, and produced by Aditya Dhar. Dhurandhar 2 features Ranveer Singh as Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and Sara Arjun, among others.
