Srinagar, Sep 15: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, on Monday assured the public that essential fuel supplies are stable, with sufficient stocks of diesel and LPG available in the Valley. While acknowledging a shortage of petrol, he said the supply is expected to be replenished within the next two days.
He informed that restoration work on the national highway is progressing round the clock, and the authorities are hopeful that it will be fully operational within two days.
“The Mughal Road has been kept open to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities,” Garg said, urging people to remain calm and avoid panic-buying at petrol pumps.
