Directorate of Health Services Organizes Special Health Awareness Drive at Pathseekers

Samba (J&K), August 21, 2025:
Pathseekers International School, in its commitment to ensuring the well-being of students and the community, organized a Special Health Awareness Drive in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu.

The program focused on educating students about the prevention of mosquito-borne diseases such as Malaria, Dengue, and Chikungunya, and promoting healthy practices to stay safe during the current season.

A dedicated team from the Health Department, led by Malaria Inspector Mr. Purshotam Lal, along with Purshotam Lal (Jr. Health Officer), Sukhdev Raj, Davinder Kumar, and Anju Bala (Basic Health Workers), conducted interactive sessions for students. They shared practical tips on preventing mosquito breeding, including avoiding stagnant water and maintaining hygiene in and around living areas.

Principal Dr. Manpreet Kaur extended heartfelt appreciation to the Directorate of Health Services and Block Medical Officer Dr. Lakhwinder Singh for organizing such an informative and impactful awareness camp. She emphasized that creating awareness among young minds is vital for building a healthy and responsible future generation.

The session concluded with the strong message: “Stop Mosquito Breeding, Prevent Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya and Stay Healthy.”
