Srinagar, Nov 25: A J&K Bank ATM kiosk was destroyed in a fire incident at Badamwari in Rainawari, Srinagar, on Tuesday morning.
Locals noticed flames coming from the kiosk and quickly informed the Fire and Emergency Services. Firefighters, along with residents, managed to control the blaze and stop it from spreading further.
Despite the timely response, the ATM was completely damaged. A nearby Santro car (JK01P-2888) also suffered partial damage due to the heat.
Officials said an inquiry has been launched to find out what caused the fire and to assess the losses.
