Jammu, January 8: At least four people were injured after a minibus they were travelling in met with an accident near Chaktroo, close to the police post area of Mandi in Poonch district on Thursday morning, officials said.
According to officials, the minibus lost control and overturned in the Chaktroo area, resulting in injuries to four occupants. All the injured were promptly shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
The injured have been identified as Ruksana Kouser (35), wife of Tariq Khan and a resident of Trichal; Mohd Hanief (45), son of Mohd Din from Sathra; Mohd Tariq (20), son of Mohd Shoker, a resident of Mandi who was working as the conductor; and Mehboob Ahmed (30), son of Mohd Saleem, the driver of the vehicle.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
