RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 14: Acting on the directions of the Secretary Health & Medical Education Department and under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and the Director Health Services Jammu, the Health Department Rajouri organized seven special medical camps across the district to assist people affected by the recent heavy rains.
During these camps, 245 patients availed OPD consultations and were provided with free medicines and essential healthcare services.
The initiative not only addressed immediate medical concerns but also focused on preventive healthcare to mitigate the risks of post-rainfall diseases.
This outreach reflects the department’s proactive efforts to provide timely medical assistance and safeguard the well-being of vulnerable populations during adverse weather conditions.
So far, the district has successfully conducted 122 medical camps, benefiting 5,825 OPD patients, thereby reaffirming the Health Department’s commitment to ensuring equitable and accessible healthcare across Rajouri.
