India and Pakistan will face each other on February 15 during the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The two teams are in the same group along with the USA, Netherlands, and Namibia.
India will begin their campaign on February 7 against the USA in Mumbai. Their second match will be against Namibia on February 12 in Delhi, followed by the high-pressure match with Pakistan on February 15. India’s final group match will be played against the Netherlands on February 18 in Ahmedabad.
The tournament will be held from February 7 to March 8 and will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will play all their group matches in Colombo or Kandy. The format includes a group stage, Super Eight round, semi-finals, and then the final.
If India moves to the Super Eight stage, their matches will be played in Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Kolkata. The final will take place in Ahmedabad, unless Pakistan qualifies, in which case the venue may shift to Colombo.
A total of 20 teams will compete in the event, with India entering as the defending champions after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup.
