Indian Army 12 Rashtriya Rifles hosts closing address of Photography Cadre at Banihal

RAMABN, JANUARY 17: Indian Army’s 12 Rashtriya Rifles (Grenadiers) organised the closing address of a Photography Cadre at Banihal, marking the culmination of a skill development initiative for a batch of 20 students consisting of boys and girls.
The photography cadre was organised with the aim of nurturing creative skills, enhancing technical knowledge and encouraging youth to explore photography as a hobby as well as a potential career option. During the course, participants were imparted practical and theoretical training on basics of photography, camera handling, composition, lighting techniques and ethical use of visual media.
While addressing the students at the closing ceremony, the Army representatives appreciated the enthusiasm, discipline, and dedication shown by the participants throughout the training period. They encouraged the students to continue honing their skills and make constructive use of photography for personal growth and positive social impact.
Certificates were distributed to all the participants who successfully completed the cadre. The students expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for providing such a meaningful learning opportunity and acknowledged the efforts of instructors and organisers.
This initiative by 12 Rashtriya Rifles contributes to youth empowerment, community engagement and nation-building by promoting education and skill development in the region.
