Jammu Sees 190.4 mm Rainfall in a Day, Marks Second-Highest August Record in Nearly 100 Years

Jammu: Jammu recorded 190.4 mm of rain within 24 hours (up to 8:30 a.m.), making it the second-heaviest August downpour since records began.
The all-time August record stands at 228.6 mm, registered on 5 August 1926.
The previous second-highest was 189.6 mm, recorded on 11 August 2022.
