Jammu, Nov 27: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday arrested a 19-year-old from Bathindi, originally a resident of Reasi, for suspected involvement in terror-related activities.
A police spokesperson said an FIR No. 331/2025 under Section 113(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort. According to officials, the preliminary investigation suggests the teenager had been radicalised online and was allegedly planning to carry out a terror act.
Police said the accused had been in contact through mobile phone with certain numbers based in Pakistan and other foreign countries.
Digital devices recovered from him have been seized and are being examined. The spokesperson added that questioning is underway and further investigation is in progress.
