Srinagar, September 14: A man was killed after falling from a walnut tree in Muqami Shahwali Drugmulla area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.
Officials said the victim, identified as Mohd Akbar Mir, son of Ghulam Nabi Mir and a resident of Muqami Shahwali, slipped from the tree and sustained serious injuries.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
