Srinagar, Sept 7: A man died in a tragic incident after falling from a walnut tree in Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
Officials said the victim has been identified as Mohd Rafiq Mir, son of Abdul Aziz Mir, a resident of Check Achabal. He slipped and fell while harvesting walnuts, suffering critical injuries.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital but doctors declared him brought dead .
Police have taken cognizance of the case and further proceedings have been initiated.
