Jammu, Nov 5: The Mughal Road, connecting Shopian with the Rajouri-Poonch districts, has been temporarily closed following fresh snowfall near Peer Ki Gali, officials said on Tuesday.
DTI Traffic Mughal Road, Manzoor Ahmad Kohli, said the closure was enforced as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of commuters.
“Traffic movement has been suspended due to fresh snowfall. People are advised to avoid travelling on the route until it is declared safe and motorable,” Kohli added.
