Srinagar, November 25: Police have launched a preliminary inquiry into the financial and operational activities of Al Huda Educational Institute in Tangmarg, Baramulla.
The inquiry was registered under DDR number 9 dated November 24, 2025, after information surfaced about possible violations of financial and regulatory norms and alleged encroachment on state land.
According to officials, the investigation will focus on suspected violations of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), possible tax evasion due to incomplete financial records, and claims that the institute’s building was constructed on state land without proper approval.
Further action will be taken once the inquiry findings are reviewed.
