Srinagar: A 32-year-old man from Noorbagh area of Srinagar was hospitalized on Friday after he sustained serious injuries in an alleged assault, officials said.
According to officials, the man was attacked by several individuals at Guzarbal Noorbagh this afternoon, leaving him critically wounded. He was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment, where his condition remains critical.
The injured has been identified as Showkat Ahmad Khan, 32, son of Abdul Rashid Khan, a resident of Noorbagh, Srinagar.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
