Poonch admin approves 12 SDRF Relief cases
POONCH, MARCH 16: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik today chaired a meeting of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Committee to review and verify relief and rehabilitation cases under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
Threadbare discussions were held on the verification of relief claims, strictly in accordance with the prescribed SDRF guidelines. After due scrutiny, twelve cases were approved for relief assistance.
The ADC underlined the importance of transparency, accuracy and accountability in the verification process to ensure that genuine beneficiaries receive timely financial assistance. He also stressed the need for coordinated efforts among all concerned departments to enhance efficiency and expedite the delivery of relief to affected individuals.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue; Muhammad Sayeed; Account Officer DC Office Poonch; Akshay Sharma; Tehsildar Haveli; Azhar Majid; Tehsildar Mendhar; Rahul Basotra; Tehsildar Mandi; Ashfaq Hussain; Tehsildar Surankote; Mohammad Akbar and Tehsildars of Haveli and Mandi along with other concerned officers.
