Progress of Mission YUVA reviewed at Ramban

RAMBAN DECEMBER 27: A review meeting and post-sanction event under Mission YUVA was held here today under the chairmanship of Special Secretary Labour and Employment Department, Pawan Kumar Parihar.
The Special Secretary conducted a detailed review of the progress of Mission YUVA through the Single Business Development Unit (SBDU). He directed the concerned officers and field functionaries to strengthen outreach at the Panchayat level, with special emphasis on promoting and supporting female entrepreneurship across the district.
The participating banks were instructed to expedite the clearance of pending cases and ensure timely disbursement of sanctioned financial assistance to beneficiaries. Eight sanction letters were issued to Mission YUVA beneficiaries.
Earlier Assistant Director Employment, Amit Kumar presented a detailed overview of Mission YUVA progress and district-wise performance figures.
Later, the Special Secretary interacted with candidates undergoing capacity-building training at Government Polytechnic College Chanderkot. He also visited the units of the beneficiaries to review on-ground challenges being faced by them in the process of establishing the business and operational phase. He assured necessary support for sustainable entrepreneurship.
