The Two-Day JK Science Congress 2025 commenced at PSPS Govt. College for Women, Gandhinagar, Jammu, in collaboration with J&K Science Technology and Innovation Council, Department of Science & Technology, bringing together researchers, academicians, scientists, students, and innovators from across the region.

Chandrasekar, Vice-Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu, was chief Guest and.Mr. Abdul Majid, Director Finance, Higher Education, JK UT, was the Guest of Honour..The audience was welcomed by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Gitanjali Andotra, who highlighted the significance of the Science Congress in fostering scientific temperament and research culture. Emphasizing the allianced spirit, visionary guidance and patronage of Sh. Shantmanu(IAS), financial Commissioner, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Department JKUT and Jb. Shahid Ibal Choudhary (IAS), Secretary to Government, Department of Science and Technology and thanked them for encouraging conduct of such innovative events which is an effort to ignite that spark for motivating budding scientists and researches.
Theme of Conference, presented by the Organizing Secretary, Dr. Aran Kumar, outlining the objectives, themes, and key highlights of the JK Science Congress. Keynote address read by Dr. Om Prakash Sharma Vidyarthi IFS (Retd.), Sahitya Akademi awardee, spoke on the emerging frontiers of Science and the transformative role of research in national development.
A major highlight of the JK Science Congress 2025 was the formal release of the abstract book “ Sarovar “showcasing the diverse range of research contributions submitted by scholars, The event was honoured by the presence of senior officials such as Ms. Neelam Khajuria, Additional Secretary, DST; Mr. Anshuman Singh, Additional Secretary, DST; Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat, Additional Director, JKSTIC; Mr. Bilal Ahmed Bhat, Joint Director, JKSTIC, Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Shruti Khanna, Assistant Director, JKSTIC; and Ms. Ishita Choudhary, Accounts Officer, JKSTIC.
