JP World School, Jammu witnessed a remarkable day of sporting enthusiasm as celebrated
cricketer Iqbal Siddiqui visited the campus for an interactive and hands-on training session
with students of the JP Cricket Academy and the school cricket team. The session turned into
an inspiring learning experience for all budding cricketers in attendance.
The event was honoured by the presence of Mr. Ashok Singh Manhas Ji, Director, JP World
School; Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary Ji, Chairperson, JP World School; along with
distinguished guests Mr. Varinder Sharma, Head Mentor, JP Cricket Academy, and Mr. Aditya
Pratap Singh Jamwal, current Ranji Trophyplayer representing the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket
Team.

A formal introduction of Iqbal Siddiqui highlighted his noteworthy cricketing career and

emerging cricketers with structured, professional-level coaching. The academy—proudly
inaugurated by cricket legend Mr. Sanath Jayasuriya—stands as a testament to the school’s
unwavering dedication to sporting excellence.
During his address, Iqbal Siddiqui captivated the audience with a powerful message on
discipline, determination, and the true essence of sportsmanship. He later engaged with
students on the field, offering personalised tips, correcting techniques, and motivating them
through live practice—an experience the young players will cherish for years to come.
