A grand Social Dinner was hosted at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi on 12 May 2026 as part of the 67th BRO Day celebrations. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation by a large number of BRO veterans, including former DG Border Roads and ADGBRs, reflecting the enduring camaraderie and legacy of the Border Roads Organisation.
A special highlight of the evening was the presence of Col H N Singh (Retd), a 98-year-old BRO veteran, inspiring all with his lifelong dedication and service to the nation.
The prestigious Lt Gen A K Puri Memorial Trophy was also awarded for the strategically significant Shyok Tunnel project Himank, recognising excellence in infrastructure development in some of the most challenging terrains
