DC Kathua reviews physical, financial progress of Irrigation & Flood Control works.Directs officers to expedite execution, maintain quality; warns of action against defaulting contractors

DC Udhampur, Minga Sherpa, visited the Post Entry Quarantine Centre at Marta, Ramnagar and reviewed ongoing infrastructure and nursery development works. The DC appreciated the innovative water conservation measures, imported rootstock bank, and nursery propagation unit and proposed promoting the centre as a hub for horticulture tourism
